All three members of Lowkick share roots at Mount Temple Comprehensive in North Dublin, where their musical journey began. Over three years of collaboration, they have cultivated a devoted following in Dublin, renowned for their dynamic live shows. Notably, they have performed to sold-out audiences at venues like the Workman’s cellar and main room, as well as headlining shows at the Grand Social and Bello Bar.
In 2022, Lowkick enjoyed a series of successes, earning acclaim from influential outlets like Nialler9, HotPress, District Magazine, and Goldenplec. Their self-titled EP garnered widespread attention across Dublin, keeping them busy on the live circuit. Notably, they supported Jeshi, one of their inspirations, in a memorable show. Expanding their sonic palette, Lowkick introduced a live band to elevate their performances.
As they look ahead to 2024, Lowkick is gearing up for the release of their debut album while aiming to make a mark on the festival circuit this summer. Amidst their live endeavors, Lowkick continues to refine their sound, steadily building an unreleased discography and fine-tuning every aspect of their craft.
