As Irish hip-hop continues to flourish, artists like Fynch are emerging as prominent figures both nationally and internationally. With a unique blend of cutting social commentary, self-deprecation, and a touch of braggadocio infused with obscure footballer references, Fynch is steadily making a name for himself in the Irish hip-hop scene.
Since mid-2017, Fynch has been releasing music, drawing inspiration from a diverse array of Irish and international artists such as The Streets, Republic Of Loose, Kendrick Lamar, and Outkast. In 2018, he co-founded the record label Burner Records alongside ARBU, Local Boy, Marcus Woods, and Muttonhead.
Fynch gained critical acclaim with the release of his debut EP, "Bookies Pens & Loose Ends," in October 2019. Since then, he has maintained a consistent release schedule, collaborating with artists like Local Boy, 49th & Main, Gaptoof, and Willhouse.
In 2023, the Drimnagh rapper returned with a series of singles including ‘Ceilings’, ‘Now Do A Silly One!’, 'Main Road Woes', and a collaboration with Odd Numbers titled ‘Uncut Gems’.
March 1st, 2024, marks the highly anticipated release of Fynch’s debut album, 'Youngfella'.
Throughout his career, Fynch has supported acclaimed acts such as Wiki, Mango X MathMan, Gemma Dunleavy, The Mouse Outfit, Lowkey, and Slum Village, solidifying his position as a rising star in the Irish hip-hop scene.
